1 needle coptic binding

Come join us on March 4th for a class on 1-Needle Coptic Stitch, taught by John Woods and Anna Bolster.

This stitch allows for multiple sections to be sewn together on to boards creating a beautiful linked pattern on the exposed spine edge. It is also known as a link stitch. No glue needed! This technique only uses one needle, eliminating the confusion of multiple needles. Both John and Anna are working hard to demystify the stitch and make it possible for you to go home knowing how to do this beautiful stitch – and a completed book!
The cost for this class is $5.00, which includes your complete kit, including a blunted curved needle for sewing, cover board, signatures, thread and directions.

Please bring the typical class kit, including: bone folder, scissors, light duty awl
Optional kit items(if you have them) heavy duty awl and hammer – or a japanese screw and paper clips

Please email Anna at: akbolster@yahoo. com by February 27th to ensure that a kit and space will be available for you. This class will be limited to the first 20 that sign up.

We look forward to seeing you on the 4th!
